RP shout ads are obstructive to chat and gameplay

This is mostly why I didn't touch on the subject because I don't see much being done about it. The advertisers would just post in every avenue available to them. I mean they put PF after PF and it can be a little obnoxious when trying to find content you want to run.

They had a similar issue with using roulettes in pf to advertise their venues until yoshi told them to move to the other tab, otherwise action will be taken. And they all listened. Just need something like that to go along with whatever new way we find for them to advertise their stuff since they don't seem to want to do it on their own. Then if they break rules and get in trouble for it, they're gonna learn from it and move on. Issuing a warning to offender's is all it would take from a gm.

Yeah I remember when people got in trouble for using some of the tabs for their unintended uses. It was mostly for selling run clears, I think, but the same would apply to anyone else I imagine. If you want a tab for PF then I can maybe see it happening, given there is the roleplay status in game, but I don't see any changes or enforcements being made to how people advertise in the shout chat. All in all I'm not opposed to the idea, I mostly wanted to mention how people can be in that scene and I apologize if it helped in derailing the thread as it was not my intention.
