Personally would like my " Hissatsu: Kaiten " back...




On a serious note... EW Samurai is balance-wise okay ( or good enough for JP players to not complain about DPS decimals missing, again... ) Many who complain about Samurai's button Bloat? are often once that won't even play the Job more after Hissatsu: Kaiten was removed and the statistics shows that. They might not play it more? but hey at least they get to be happy. To appeal to this crowd's Wishlist? Compress/Fuse the following skills:

• Guren / Senei
• Ikishoten / Ogi Namikiri
• Shoha / Shoha II
• Shinten / Kyuten ( if you really have to )

QOL changes that could be done regardless of button compression:

• Meditate refreshes ( not generate ) Fugetsu and Fuga buff
• Shoha has no Cooldown
• Guren radius and reach is slightly increased

My personal Wishlist though vs what I believe people say they want?

• I want Hissatsu: Kaiten Back

What I really mean by saying this? Is that I want Samurai to have an inch or an ilm more depth then the shallowness that is Shinten/Kyuten. Any amount of (optional) depth to any Job? can be applied to any PvE activity in & outside of serious raiding. The monotonous Casual content that makes up 95% of our Game was a lot more Fun with a more engaging gauge management. Necessary Execution? No. Is it Fun? To me yeah. I have no Faith in Square removing anything and replacing it with more Depth. They have no track record of doing so during the time I played. Square can keep the Skill-Floor beneath the Earth's Crust for all I care, I just want players who desire optional Skill-Ceiling to be able to savour that for 7.0 DT+ and the easiest way to do that is to bring back something that exactly did that i.e " Bring back Hissatsu: Kaiten "


Now will any of the above happen? Probably not. I have so little faith, I am prepared to expect the following horrible changes:

• Iaijutsu no longer has a cast time
• Shoha III is added
• Enhanced Gyoten
• Ogi Namikiri becomes a Circular Shaped Slash
• Hagakure removed
• Meditate removed
• Higanbana dot removed
• Positionals removed
• Third Eye removed

I would not be surprised... if these changes happen be it in 7.0 or in the foreseeable future
