    Anyone know if we'll still be able to invite people to parties from anywhere and will we still be able to see what people post in chat log while changing zones? Not being able to get parts of a conversation because of zoning in 11 was annoying.

    I can't imagine they would have fixed this for FFXIV 1.0 just to bring back the bug in 2.0. Should be safe, hopefully!

    From what I understand the chat is through a separate server, you will notice if you R0 from the game you can still chat with your LS etc.

    Hopefully they keep this the same, as you say losing chat due to zoning was a pain.
