    This is an awful idea. You never want to lock new content behind optional side content from old content. We already have this issue with Hildibrand and people hate it. HAving relics being locked behind a sidequest that started in ARR is absolutely shocking design. For mains and older characters it's fine. Once you bring newer players into the mix and alt characters it's a major pain. No thanks.

    All i can say is the final quest reward for Island Sanctuary is garbage XD all that to rank 20 for nothing and we get just that "item" we can craft ourselves lmao

    I would like to see stuff loop back around into the these lifestyle contents, like a lot. By that I mean any and all of them, whenever it makes sense or a dev gets a cool idea. But in particular for Island Sanctuary I'd say please don't only add to the top, the island needs more content to surround it's base, besides the fact that if you added something to the top then new players would have a LONG way to get it lol. It's a huge tower of spread sheet content right now, it should be broadened whenever possible. Like if they add content in 7.0, don't just add to the top. Add trinkets and handles, or whatever, to the crafting tools so you can get new ways to engage with gathering ( I made a thread: here, some ideas were a chain for your spearfishing pole that after every X gatherings allowed you to gather via significant range, or small speed boost per gather, mammet backpack that would help gather with you, etc).. Take the Golden Saucer mini-games and tweak them into catching animal game. Add weekly logs of greater value (including EXP), so players can diversify their progress outside of just the spreadsheet (like catching animals is now a big boost to exp, sometimes animals drop items on capture, etc). Mammet tribe / leve like quests, or some sort of NPC habilitation / custom delivery stuff.

    Unlocking the different sections is slightly. But you've edited your post to reflect it anyway.

    There is no guarantee that Cosmic Exploration will be personal progress, because it could be like the Firmament since it is going to be more social. It remains to be seen whether the progress even is something you only see on your character or whether everyone sees it like how the Firmament became.

    So far it seems like we will get seasons similar to the Firmament, except instead of building different sections we visit different planets. Unless they make us progress through these seasons like Bozja and Eureka areas so that we can still experience them further into the expansion.

    OMG continuing to misread as ever. Your feedback is awful, and not at all what I am suggesting. I'm convinced people don't read on these forums. I just want some meaningful achievement bonus that reflects in the Space Exploration that is entirely OPTIONAL, and visual. Nothing that adds anything non cosmetic. Island Sanctuary is basically being abandoned in favor of a new better system, and it would be cool if all that hard work we put into it had some kind of bonus to reflect on the new content. It's not fair to abandon it, and not carry at least some kind of a thing over to Space Exploration.

    I hope it's personal dictated growth but community dictated maximum growth. So when the content is fresh you can't hit rank 2 until the community busts that cap open, which will take substantial resources (like firmament did); however, YOUR zone is rank 1 until you complete the transition. If you're doing this content live, you'll transition as a community, if you're doing it late, you'll get the whole story smoothly and orderly.

    There also might be phased sections too, if that's possible, such that we're all working together but my choices might not be yours- at least in specific areas. Little bit like how in WoW the farm is in the zone and is phased to you. Maybe for example we all work together to build a tavern but I choose to place Stevie Bevie instead of the community top pick McWonderCluck. You pick the Firmament Blacksmith and I pick Jeweler. Etc. Which could provide differences, as an.. RPG.. :O (to that expansion would be the 'easy' choice, but it might be neat if it was like to that expansion and any level 3 FATE zone).

    I'd support it, just because that i consider intersecting gameplay elements to be a good idea. Having one thing such as island unlocking additional features or options in another mode, is a nice thing i'd say
