Just a last general comment for today...SE is a progressive company. They always have been. If you're expecting some kind of knee bending over Sena because she tweeted about wanting more trans people playing trans roles, you are wasting your time because SE likely agrees with that. After all they hire trans people. So there's that.

Ah I love it, so when it's a trans person talking badly of cis, it's okay, but the opposite is not

I had noticed the trend of more and more LGBT+ people moving away from the so called LBGTQIA community, at least that is the case here in the States.

Sadly we have to basically make it known that we dont agree with these communities because people automatically assume we are with them, I am not in any way shape or form agreeing with them.

I never said it did speak for every progressive. I was sharing a story based on personal experience based on Stormy's personal experience. I wasn't intending on attacking "All progressives", I AM one lol.

Give it some time to let it actually sink in, before you complain, it is more like that people want and like to be racist at first sight or being judgemental to the extremes, which is what we need less of on Planet Earth, just look around a bit with horrible things going on in general as of current.

fair enough sorry, don't mean to take you out of context or anything, just assumed that due to the person in the replies, distancing themselves from that community (who was generalising, these communities).
I actually do think it reflects on a lot of how people view others being progressive, that you agree with everything in the community mb though.

The list goes on... Thrancred... is annoying as well.. so is G'raha... Krile should be renamed kringe... Aymeric.... and the list goes on, stop making up excuses... if don't like some you may like others and that is it...

Also I only read one page of Wuk's book.... can't put my fingers on anything untill I have read the entire book, other than I from the beginning am finding her awesome.

I didn't know people were talking badly of cis people? I didn't really know cis people were in real need of representation either? like that's the key difference.
I mean for sure theirs certainly people who are progressive who are also bad, but "being progressive" or "woke" is a easy way to parody and box people who are actually very reasonable, not everyone is mind you but that's just the nature of every community, you will get extreme examples.

The "queer community" tends to stand up for LGBTQ+ Rights which I don't think is cult like at all, In reality most lgbtq+ people (like me) don't really consider themselves a active massive part of the community, I'm my own person at the end of the day, but do support the general rights such as lgbtq+ rights.

I don't know if you're one of those "both sides" people or just dislike people who are generally are apart of that community, but when you argue that people can say they didn't like the VA without being a phobic person (which is 100% true, I agree there), that it's unfair to label those people as "anti trans" as they have valid criticism, but you also generalise everyone apart of the community as this cult? or anyone pointing out that yeah theirs actually some people who are doing it to simply just to be transphobic.

This discussion is pretty tiring honestly, People being defensive about identity's might seem wild but the reason why people act like that is because they generally have to, Most LGBTQ+ People don't want to have to constantly talk about this sort of stuff, but they still have to do it because of people calling into question their own rights.

She didn't criticise the performance. The harshest thing Sena said is that she isn't a trans ally and while I personally think it's asking a lot for a VA to make that kind of sacrifice or you're "not an ally", Sena clearly feels otherwise. Her tweets give the impression this has been an ongoing thing so maybe the passage of time affected her disposition. She also tweeted a bunch of other roles to give people an idea of just how widespread the issue is and I was personally very surprised-- I had no idea. I'd imagine if that is your life and something you're passionate about you're going to feel strongly about it. Again it was also Trans visibility day, Sena also tweeted that one studio she was a part of blacklisted and blocked her when she asked them why they didn't even offer two trans roles to any trans actors. I would imagine she was feeling dejected. Combining all of these factors Sena is going to be more sensitive to the issue than you or me, and may be less reasonable.

The worst mistake the transphobes made was finding the tweets becuase the thread itself gives you all the context. It wasn't even targeting the actors but the magnitude of the roles, as Sena makes clear. Hence trans visibility. There's more visibility if trans actors are in these popular roles of trans characters.

I will also repeat again whether it's intentional misinterpreting of events or not, thank goodness trans people have some representation and protected speech because if all we had is the heteronormal perspective we would be drowning in mischaracterizations, fallacies and stoicism.
