First impressions are everything (especially for a character whos front and center) so it's an uphill battle from there but hopefully you're right that with time and the criticism mentioned earlier that we see an improvement in DT release. Also, I agree with the sentiment others have shared: I simply don't believe the actress has been given enough time for us to fairly criticize her.
Everyone sounds awkward when they're first introduced. Not only are we subconsciously comparing them to actors and characters we've known for years, but these actors have yet to find their footing in these new roles. This is especially true for a live-service game where characters are introduced in patches. In a full release, like an expansion, they will have worked on these recordings for months; they can re-record, they can have more takes, more direction, and they can find their footing in this new role.
I wouldn't be surprised if Wuk Lamat's actress only had a session or two to deliver the lines we've heard from her thus far, considering it was for a patch and needed to be pushed out the door. In this vein, I do earnestly believe she will be much improved in 7.0; she will have had a lot more time and direction to get her deliveries down.
Even Emet sounds weird and off in 4.4 and 4.5. He has the chops of a good actor, but his cadence, inflections, delivery, direction, etc. are all different than what we are used to hearing from him in 5.0 and onwards once he's come in to his own in the role and knows how to play the character.
Opinions are fine. Critiques are fine. We'd probably still be stuck with ARR VO if we didn't complain about it.
But I truly don't think that Wuk Lamat has been given enough time for use to judge her. Frankly, I think it's unfair and in poor taste to so heavily critique them when we've only known them for a handful of cutscenes.

I want the option to have clips from Rico Suave start playing instead every time Wuk talks.

Hope the square team hears this and changes the VA. There's still time. it just takes me out of the experience, and makes it hard to like the character. I got genuinely annoyed at her delivery, which doesn't happen often.
this could just be a little fun fact years later if they get a better VA. sort of like Hraesvelgr attacking Ishgard in the Heavensward cinematic, or Lyna's different design and role in the Shadowbringers Cinematic. It's easy to change things before they actually release.

Yeah, voice have a few problems. And VA need to little train to take it away. Problem? VA blacklist all people with criticism in twitter like a big snowflake.
I was asleep and didn't even notice my own thread got deleted. Glad it's back up. I don't appreciate my opinion being thrown out because some people are being bad eggs.
"I don't like the voice, so I'm gonna spend my time to go harass the voice actor on their own personal accounts across the internet"
Then when you get blocked, whine as if you are entitled to this persons attention despite being actively hostile to them. Yet they are the "big snowflake", some how.

Ehh?? Her profile says she preemptively blocks all blue check marks, I don't think Ashpd went to harass them, and it's silly to assume so."I don't like the voice, so I'm gonna spend my time to go harass the voice actor on their own personal accounts across the internet"

No blue mark. Problem is - VA didnt want to hear criticism at all. Even with that flat line before battle with big bird. I'm sure Sena can do great job, but need to work about bad moments. Not harass etc etc.
