I'm glad reivaxe won the "how should female hrothgar look" fight; they look closer to what she wanted than the hulking male hrothgar with breasts others wanted. Moreover, it's a perfect middle ground when it comes to the face options.
I do hope Zanarkand Ronso's doing well out there, haven't heard from her for a while on this topic, female hrothgar turned out similar to female roe so but shorter, she'd be glad for it I'm sure.

The only people who wanted to them to be male hroths with tits were the GW2 refugees and I'm glad SE didn't listen to them.

Charr would have been nice, but I would have been fine with something like how Blizzard made Tauren instead (their build is similar to female Hrothgar and their faces are still clearly Tauren). I'm just really not a fan of the human-shape face (with one face option being very similar to Miqo'te). Male Hrothgar don't have a human shaped face, so why do female Hrothgar?

Not all of the face models do and we need to take into consideration muzzle options, jaw options etc. I am happy that some of the female faces are humanoid. I don't want some long beastly snout.

But Hrothgar are literally the playable beast race. Every male face is bestial. So it would make sense for the same to apply for the females.

Thanks for the shout-out! Intended on staying unsubbed until shortly before DT hits so that I could blast through the whole Expac in the waiting period ... but I legit feel like I need a good long time away from BG3 to enjoy it again. I've played it since it came out, it's that good.
Anyway, I love em! Love how they have a nice layer of fat around their arms, like you'd see with many strong women.
I call this look ... "Soft Strong". Their arms are "big" but not ripped or too big. The devs gave em feminine fat distribution to keep em soft and pretty, something I didn't expect them to do and def almost saw zero art guessing they would do. It's very much strikes a balance. Also feel like they're not Pancaked judging by the showcase, which is a massive plus. (So hopefully they don't require 2B bottoms)

Love the faces, and they very much seem to be inline with what I guessed. I can already tell that hair is gonna look better on them than the guys, looking at the way their head and face are shaped).

Seem to cover the "female flip" of the male face's, but with smaller cats as the foundation.

Yup, I'm happy! Thought it was all a wash from the DT trailer, but the showcase was a full on save and now it seems that face just didn't convert to that style well.

Not only was I hoping for exactly this face because I adore cheetahs but it is also an interesting switch considering that Hrothgar are very clearly meant to be lion people.

The one you have labeled "Face 1" to me screams out cheetah face, not just generic cat. It even has a faint version of the markings running down from the eyes that cheetahs have.

Not only was I hoping for exactly this face because I adore cheetahs but it is also an interesting switch considering that Hrothgar are very clearly meant to be lion people.

It looks like the cheetah lines are an optional marking.

I think the whole idea of what we are considering face 1 is to make just about any kind of wild cat like Hrothgal you want as the render below shows. Lion like just don't use markings, want something more cheetah like there's two markings, lynx like here's ear tufts. Maybe they have some kind of tiger marking as well since they are the only Hrothgal with rounded ears who knows at this point. I really hope we get the Benchmark around March rather than May. Really need to know what my options are to make the Hrothgal I would like to play as :P
