I hope if he does play FF14 again that everyone will just leave him alone and let him play the game. If he doesn't come back then I hope he has fun playing whichever games he does. His streams were massive for FF14 as a whole back in the lull at the end of ShB and it would be neat to see the same thing happen again with this lull at the end of EW even if I don't think he will ever stream the game again.

That is an inherent problem with Twitch itself and less of the streamers. The platform does little to nothing to promote smaller streamers and funnels them into the largest streamers making them bigger.

Well, 58% of donations still went to charity. I think the numbers were something like $600,000 raised, $348,000 went to charity, and the remaining amount went to the marketing agency, Softgiving. Realistically, it would be better if more of it went to charity, but $348,000 is still quite a decent amount.
