In my whole time playing XIV(2-3 years now) i've only added one person after a roulette, and that was because we both would grind mentor and find each other more often than not, and when it did it pretty much meant a fast dungeon, along both sharing solo DD title so that would add quite the conversation
Now while talking about said social aspect Eureka and Bozja are if not better the best place in this game to work along community
In Eureka having to constantly move around, people calling elementals, fates with/or fate trains, forcefully doing groups, resurrection missions to avoid people loosing levels with the cherry on top being Baldesion arsenal, an instance that requires communication, guidance and work of over 48 people
I could tell about that one time on a rez mission like 4 of us ended up dying on the Pagos cliff, how me and another guy almost didn't make it after a dragon on Pyros and only because a lala that was highly underleved for the area we were SLEPT IT or that one time we killed Luigi with mere 3 seconds on the clock
Bozja? Hell even more
Forced again to constantly do parties for the bosses, people farming clusters together, the duels with always a great audience cheering the one dueling (before cheesing was a thing ofc) with but a reward for everyone if the duel is won
And of course again, both Dalriada and Castrum, with ONCE AGAIN having to make parties, mantaining a constant communication between the two sides on the bosses health, again communication for the rescues, the switches with the lasers while 3 parties have to be split
From here i'll just put a single story of how (again) a lala on Zadnor, area 1, had no one helping him to spawn fates for it because everyone just goes to area 3, so i just helped him tirelessly
I'm proud to say he's a person that now really looks foward to me and him reaching the point of going from semi-casual to an ultimate raider is a thing i can say
Exploratory zones are more than just relics, it groups the community together
