ngl.. im just sick of seeing things in the game getting worse, the quality of content lowering, the amount of content lessening, the gap between content getting wider and the new expansion information being fragmented and not having much to it.. (no release date, no job action trailer.. 3 trails before the final one) all for the sake of drawing things out, or delaying things to not be called out

the cashshop has become predatory to the point where it feels like they respond to players begging for content by adding new cash glam or $400 figures with predatory emotes.

im starting to look at this company, this game.. and feel disgust in the place where i used to feel respect for them having built this game up so well. Im currently playing monster Hunter world, and im asking myself.. am i excited for dawntrail, yea.. but im also kinda repulsed by it too. cause the idea of giving them more money to keep predating on players in a way that now feels kinda dispicable.

you are free to tell me to unsub, leave give you my gil all the ususal toxic rubbish, but i wonder; how, you- the people who DO feel this way continue to justify youre support of FFXIV

people like to believe there is a perfect paradise where if there wasn't a cash shop or wasn't these statues or anything else they dislike about this game or any other, that all the stuff they make would be put into the game and added for free.

it's a nice idea but what actually happen is all the things they make for these other things just wouldn't exist.

i want more content from SE and not just for 14 so i am happy to give money for dumb things i don't need but want when i have the extra cash otherwise it means nothing to me.

The op seems to flip flop between defending the game to then posting these doom threads of how the company is horrible for selling merchandise and being predatory with it's cash shop and not producing enough content. Then will make post about how we have too many jobs and defending cash shop purchasing. One week they seem to dislike the game it's community and the company then the next week defend it then go back to calling out the company for apparently being predatory for making money.

but its not free.. when you pay youre monthly sub that covers the cost of everything. and should be the final cost, osrs doesnt charge real money ontop of a member sub for other items like outfits and emotes and they dont cut content. this paradise DOES exist, because the fans rebelled and made it exist

ffxiv 1.0 only got better when ppl left. blindly supporting the company untill they make something to keep u amused for 30 hours is a horrible motivem and honestly.. its not going to be fruitful

The content may not be at the difficulty some people would like, but it feels like the quality is pristine to me.

It's increasing in Dawntrail, although it may only be by a small amount (the new field operation).

Alright, they officially announced it was getting wider, so that one is true.

I do wonder if they can be creative enough with AI to make development more efficient though. There is a lot of potential to speed up tasks that take a lot of time and they should get a team to look at this and create the necessary tools. Then it may allow them to reduce the timeframe again.

All of that is normal for an expansion release except delaying the release date. We'll know what it is very soon, most likely, because it almost was going to be included in the trailer.

You didnt consider what might have changed between now and last week. i am not a 1 sided coin unlike you. i cannot hate everything, defend everything. i can do both or neither. you really cannot undersdtand this. i can defend pictomancer, i can defend ppl who buy glam. but i cant defend blatent predation by square. how is that hard to understand? honeslty?
