I wish FFXIV had in-game boss adventurer guides for old content.

It's nice to a degree, but there is no guarantee that the guides or compendium published officially would be any more interesting than a content creator from YouTube, etc., - I think in the context of it being official, would also likely strip a significant amount of personality away from it as well.

So it's something that's.. Nice on paper, but not necessarily that great in practice. I suppose the question I have for you, is why would a native feature like this be anymore attractive than, say, a YouTuber, or a guide content writer?

I like written guides, I don't like YouTube ones because its faster for me to read through a guide, then watch an hour-long video with a crippling attention span, with very boring college prof voices.
