Will no longer purchase optional items in response to statue emote

i dont understand this tbh.. like this game activley doesnt want u playing alts so who cares if ur main is the only 1 with it.. u still have it and its still on ur main. this isnt wow and alts dont really matter past socializing on different DCS (and tbh if you gona flex that emote across DC ppl just gona hate u anyway)

I enjoy playing on alts! Even though I don't roleplay, I have many alts that are NPCs, as they tend to make people laugh or make jokes in roulettes. It makes me very happy when playing one of these characters makes roulettes a little more enjoyable for people.

I also enjoy playing them anyways as it just gives me something to do. Due to my illness I have not had the energy nor the consistency to join a static, making savage and ultimate content harder to commit to. Playing alts allows me to go through my favorite parts of the story again (curse the single NG+ save), or read my favorite sidequests since they aren't revisitable. They give me a more interesting reason to do a lot of gold saucer content every week, as doing your challenge log gives new recruits for your Squadron, and I like trying to get the funnier ones or make specific teams like "oops, all Au Ras."

They're little things, but they give me something to do while I pay my sub every month to keep my house, especially during a content lull lol.

I understand, and I apologize if I have upset you with my decision. I definitely understand what it's like to be in your position, as I am normally in it as well. I only wanted to spend this money as my family's request with holiday money is that I spend it on myself. I figured buying the emote could count well enough while also being able to potentially do something nice for a friend if any of them had the room for the figure and could maybe help pay for shipping. Once again I was not asking for empathy though, but rather just trying to speak out and say no matter how you may feel about a company, such as myself, if you allow them to take away a little without speaking up, they will do it again. The only way to stop them is to say loudly that you won't tolerate it, and to speak with your wallet.

And I apologize if the way I phrase things is funny, I'm not very adept at articulating myself I believe.

I apologize, but I'm gonna take this chance to make a joke, please don't take it serious.

But one of my alts is Elidibus, and I think it'd be very funny to make him do the Hydaelyn kick.

Jokes aside, I am once again more upset at the seemingly useless change. What reason is there to do this when every other statue was not like this? I am not upset the fact that it's a single-character, but more of the fact that it's a clear downgrade from what Square Enix has released before. If we do not speak out against it, this will be the new trend, and there's no reason for this to happen outside of some kind of gain for them at the loss to their customer.
