Welp, I had some random thoughts about our missing face and started thinking that Wuk Lamat (Legs name) and comparing it to the face of hand wraps from the art of the four Hrothgals and started thinking that maybe she could be the missing face as well since she does have the triangular ears and softer eyes like hand wraps. But then I started looking at the poster art for DT and now...



I'm starting to think that she won't be able to be recreated in the Character Creator and that quite possibly she has a unique head and tail model... the reason why I'm thinking this now is because she has a Tail Ring in the Poster piece that I didn't notice until recently. Anywho anyone else got thoughts on this?

The option of tail accessories interests me too. It looks so cute! If my memory does not deceive me, there was talking about possible additions to the editor after graphic update. On the other hand, you are right, she may have a custom model...
But hear me out. Why not use both? Haha
As for the face, I'd guess she shares it with the lady from the reveal. Do the ears depend on the face? Weren't there tassels that let you change the shape? Although, other than CG, we haven't seen her yet in action, so...

Had to reread to be sure Nureus meant exactly. So forgive if slightly wrong.

We have no real idea so far.
(I honestly hoped we wouldn't meet her til DT. Unless they don't show her upper body yet. Cause Really, alot of effort to make less enhanced body, just to not use it later. Unless She is fully custom, like it is speculated.)

Idk if I recall, or if I even heard correctly if she is connected to the Ruler of the Local Goverment. (By Blood, or adoption, or position/title.)

But I only bring it up cause of the custom speculation.
We know specific races got their special Customizations. Most Races got their Earing/Piece options.
(While Au Ra got the EXTRA Facial Scales. Don't recall what other races could have.)

Never made a Male Hroth, so I don't recall if they got Tail Ring options, but maybe some day SE will give us more Customizations, or places to add items.
(if we don't get her outfit or similar in DT.)

For male Hrothgar the ears are tied to the face. Though this could change with the females I have a hunch that it probably won't (again I have been proven wrong before). We won't know what customization options they'll have until we can play with the benchmark since it could be possible that the fang option is replaced with a different option. But we have this picture which I feel supports the idea that ears are tied to faces (for the time being):



This looks like a Facial Features option to change the ears from the round version to a tufted version which is an option on a number of the male Hrothgars have. It could be possible that the best case situation is that the tail ring is part of the body piece and that along with the hair might end up on the cash shop as a Wuk Lamat costume set which seems to be fairly common practice while the face could be the missing face. Again unfortunately won't know till we can play with the benchmark since 6.55 might not give us much (if any) more info till then :/

I guess we can hope that maybe they keep to a pattern an we can play with the Benchmark around the early part of March (about the week of the 4th) since it seems 8 weeks after the last fanfest has been the norm. I'm probably just too excited and trying to get as much info as I can with the limited amount that we have access to :/

you could probably get very close with the recreated like u can with most of main characters though never 100% seeing that they all have custom faces. but there are few chases that its harder like Yugiri (kinda like frankenstein monster has both Au ra and miqo'te bodyparts) and F'lhaminn wich is mixed with Keeper and sun..

The tail accessories is interesting but also a question mark as we don't know how the accessories or tails option will come to play with the Female Hrothgar character creation

Yugiri and Fran were the reps for their races and they both have a unique face (or face/horn combination in Yugiri's case) and hairstyle that still isn't available to players, but you can create a sort of 'Wish-version' of either.

Beyond a few face/hair combinations not available to players I don't think male Hrothgar and male Viera had any NPC's with completely unvailable features though, so it could go either way for Wuk Lamat.

I remember some time ago I made a drawing with a female Hrothgar fan interpretation that had tail rings. They might have saw it and liked the idea.
I would love if we would get as a race specific thing tail rings!

Sounds strict! Yugiri, with the exception of hairs, has only the combination of horns and face that is unusual. Just before HW, the model was not disclosed and a different one (miqo'te) was used. Pretty fine now. F'lhaminn is just an old catmom, from the Sun Seekers she only has a name.

Basically, I would agree with this. Suspect that her clothing will be a unique feature of the character herself (temporarily... since many of the NPC sets ended up in Mog Store), and perhaps her hairstyle too. But since she will almost certainly appear as a full-fledged figure and not a half-hidden hint like Yugiri, I don't see much point in the "Frankenstein's monster" as Fayt put it above. Even Scions, while having some unique features (tattoos, Y'shtola's eyes, etc.), are overall not too different from what you can create. Whether this is good or bad is, of course, up to you.
Myself have been convinced, more than once, that the players here are able to extract something unique even from the minimum. However, a variety of details is still welcome!

8 weeks now sounds like an eternity!! TTT_TTT Heavy hopium on the fact that everything will happen a bit earlier, as Yoshi P-san said, but you, of course, also made an understandable assumption.

The benchmark might come later than usual, there's the graphic update as well that definitely impact the development cycle.
Oh and I guess it's going to be kinda weird to have the Hrothgal coming in the next patch but without the graphical update?

I think I got pretty close, which isn't surprising since they are based off ronso so... They were bound to look similar lol

I do like the sleek face of female hrothgar, but I wish some face fur was an option too. Something cute, fluffy, and almost chubby looking like this:
