Melee will definitely, 100% be skipped next expansion. Two expansions in a row for new Melee jobs is more than enough for a long time.
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised after the Pictomancer backlash if we got a physical ranged, and they just skipped for a second new caster. Though a new striking job would be cool, I feel like something from Time Mage, Geomancer, Green Mage, or Oracle would make fans happy to contrast Pictomancer. I'm not saying Picto isn't welcome, but it has been a LONG TIME since we had a new casting job, and I know some people are upset that its so cartoony.
