Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

Congratulations to everyone who gets to play the female Hrothgar!

My only criticism of the reveal is the same old problem with male/female beast races that WoW has: The developers go nuts with the males and make them look cool and "beastily", and then they design a female version that doesn't quite match the male version and ends up looking too human.

The female Hrothgar in this scenario are too small and resemble a thick Mi'qote, when they should have been huge and beefy like their male counterparts.

I know I'm being nitpicky here, but it irks me every time.

Eh, in this case it's about the same as for Roes. The and the males aren't that bestial, just bad posture.

And well, sexual dimorphism for us humans. Men can generally look like whatever since other features like wealth are more important in them.

I'm really petty jealous of Female Hrothgar and I don't consider them the Female equivalent of the original Male Hrothgar, who is walking like an animalistic cave man. It's the whole reason why I couldn't get into playing Male Hrothgar at the very start.

So to actually stop the genderlock.. Please also enable the Male version of the current Female Hrothgar D:

I'm definitely going to try to make a Hrothgall when the benchmark is released, I'm not yet convinced, at least not until I see it by myself.

My mind is still blown over the fact that male viera were added to the game. And soon, female hrothgar will be too. I think a large part of their inclusion into the game was because of the feedback on the official forum. Yoshi P, the graphics team, everyone who is involved in this, they are all so awesome. They really care about the players and truly do listen. I feel so lucky, ffxiv is in good hands. It may not be perfect all of the time, but the team does their best.
