I would like to see the more demon and succubus Au Ra, they were cool. Wild clans might be an idea, well just new clans in general. Although at some point sliders would nice, like a body morph to make actual muscles not texture, or chubby, skinny, etc. Hunched hroth, not hunched.

looking at viera and hrothgar hats and hairstyles for exemple.
graphic update wont be finished with 7.0.
two channel dyeing wont be finished with 7.0 either.
and then there are the wishes for more character creation ooptions overall.

and i'm still sad we wobt get old glowy trial weapons for new jobs... at least a few would be nice

I think you’re right, I hope they work on improving the open world a lot more. We don’t need more characters. I would rather see new open world designs or improved on. Our world are empty. We need meta events like Guild Wars 2. Their maps are still run daily and are fun.

Whatever is it should definitely be another beast race since there's currently only one race that isn't some variation of humans. My vote would be Ivalice Moogles since they're not far removed from Lalafells. Lupin would be amazing but they could never wear hats or use hairstyles ever and we've already been down that road.

It honestly might not be a popular sentiment, but I could live without hats and hair for a really high quality, playable Lupin race -- maybe allowing us to choose the shape of our fur fluff and a wide variety of ears to make up for it. Very grateful we're getting hats and hair for Viera and Hrothgar, but visually at least I would understand why those would be especially out of question for Lupin.


Have wondered for a while if WoW-style 'allied races' would give SE an excuse to make additional races with excusable limitations. Most of WoW's allied races are no more than reskins, but Vulpera and Kul Tirans are very different from the races they borrow assets from.

If they're going to continue development of character creation and race options, something I'd like to see explored more would be new categories of existing races that have more distinct qualities, but still utilize the same model and animations. For example, adding in the option to be half-Elezen like Hilda and other possible mixed race options. I've always been interested in the concept of the Padjal, and while the ones we're familiar with in Gridania are kind of lore-locked, it could be possible to introduce an alternative community from a different location that have more flexibility in the lore to have our WoL's freedoms--basically people with horns and antlers.

I agree with you I would love a half Elezen and always wanted that implemented. I also would loved to see the Padjal. I would love to see the CC updated as it is really limited but half Elezen/Padjal would be nice.

Yes there are Races already ingame that would be fun... Lupin or even some of the beast ones, or moogle lol.

But id still want some small race, some fey folk, or small furry stuff... id say Lizard but we already have Aura... but something like the Rito from the Legend of Zelda: https://zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Rito
-though id prefer the WW Variant, all of em would work for us.

Or something Mermaid like... for both you could make some extra Mount that just utilizes their natural ability to fly/swim...
