Assorting all my views of them. 1. I love how non-petite they look, framed rather boxy in the mid section yet still heroic. 2. Some of the hairstyles are fantastic. 3. The face with The Lost color scheme is the best out of the bunch imo.

4. I think their faces, relatively in the nose and jaw department, could be altered a bit. If male Hrothgar’s still can’t wear most head gear due to limitations, I assume females have the same. And so I don’t think it’ll make things worse if there is more dimension, width to their faces. Even the illustration shows the side profile much better than the in game, better proportion and scale to head=body. It’s just their faces look pretty small and like a costume/makeup when looking dead on or in less extreme angles.

I do not think the projected, devils advocate excuse, “it makes them look lithe and elegant” is sturdy here. Because their hairstyles and physical disposition are stark enough, from the males, to interpret this aesthetic. I assume the challenge could be that sizing up the head and face could mean that feet and hands will look too small. And then those need to size up and then gear would need to be refitted, creating a snowball. This isn’t minor like a male Hrothgar haircut, before shadowbringers, needing to be fixed because of a gap.

And so I’m okay if needing to give up “enlarging” their heads if it makes pulling out their face a bit, shrink the lower chin in, widen their mouth, while still differentiating the faces, to be more feasible. As I said, one of them looks the best out of the three for being a decent blend.

I think that some exceptional fanarts have shown that you can make characters look lithe, elegant and muscular while having more bestial, anthropomorphic faces on females.
