If someone tells you to stop rescuing them, stop rescuing them. I don't like being rescued because of how many times trolls have rescued me in the past so my direct response will just be anger. I will type out after the first rescue to please stop, I'm not comfortable being rescued and please respect that. I do not enjoy it. Some do not enjoy it. Some will be grateful. Some will still be clueless. So please, respect when people say to stop.

Yeah, well... When people have many people doing clueless move, they don't really notice your pseudo. Maybe don't stay in big orange stuff ?

There's could be lot of exceptions. It's not like 4 different classes don't have last minute abilities they can use to move out of the way.

If it's normal content and you've witnessed someone eat every single avoidable hit then it's time to stop caring about their feelings about being rescued though.

Don't get me wrong, I understand how people feel about Rescue. Healers literally get to go god mode and yoink someone once every two minutes but if a healer is using it either they're very trigger happy or you're extremely bad and you've tried their patience.

If it helps, the one that I got annoyed was E11N where the clones are invisible. There are two safe spots and the healer rescued me, and killed me. That's when I told them not to rescue me but they still rescue me during those red/blue circles, and kills me.

But most of the time, and despite those forum telling awful stories about rescue, I don't really see many healers using it to troll or kill. And most of the time, it's definitly the other player who played poorly - and finally got rescued all the time because of it.

Problem is, that's pretty much how my experience with rescues are. I kept being rescued for no reason whatsoever and most of them kills me. Most healers do not realize that rescue does not made the rescued immune. So when you are being dragged, you are literally dragged into those aoes. I have been pingpong by healers before as a blm just to troll me lol. Rescue PTSD is definitely real, especially when most of the rescues, with goodwill or not, 90% of the times do kill you.

I feel that you have just had bad luck with it but are also exaggerating the issue. It's a very useful and powerful skill, but certainly does have the trolling power potential. I'd honestly be interested in seeing the chat logs of when this ping pong stuff happens. Like how exactly do you respond every time you get rescued? I use the skill regularly and can still count on one hand the amount of times I've caused the person a problem in doing so, but I have seen so many people ignore it completely and just go back to where they were, only to die right away. If you're getting rescued a lot, I would recommend taking a look at your gameplay and ask yourself "What am I doing that makes people want to use this on me so much?"

Just so you are aware, using rescue to kill another player is reportable. Especially if it's repeated behavior.

healers has no time to read ur name before rescue you, they see some one in void zone - they go brrrrrr
