I don't know about that, the legs we saw suggested a significantly more slender build than their male counterparts (not that that's any surprise). I think the only real mystery left is whether they'll just have a human-shaped head with cat-like mouth and nose or look more anthropomorphic, like the males...

I see them being very close to the female Ronso of FFX, which I love! I am very pleased with what I have seen so far of them. Their height seems good, their amount of muscle is great! Now the only worry is the head. I have no hope there, will have to see in 2 weeks. Fingers crossed at least 1 of the faces will be to my liking (see signature).

I would unironically love that. Just cut a bit from that jaw and raise it to give it a more feminine look, with some more pronounced cheekbones. And you got a winner! Oh and also some longer eyelashes, them mascara adds gotta be feral proof!

Given that there's a picture, unless female Hrothgar are literally male Hrothgar models copy-pasted over, it would appear that Vtorak is a male-bodied Hrothgar regardless of what pronouns he or she may prefer.

If they actually wanted mystery, they easily could have made it a blank picture. Given the rest of the profile, it wouldn't seem out of place.

Sorry a bit late to the responses to this topic but I would say that the picture doesn't prove that the Gleaner Guild Master can't be a Hrothgal since if she is trying to keep a low profile she could have a male escort/guard that acts as a proxy or at least a stand in so that she isn't found which I mean would be a good way to stay hidden to some extent.

Thinking about it, Garlemald military brass would have to weigh the risk of spending resources on a possible wild goose chase on the off chance that a rumor is true and a Hrothgal is alive and out in the world somewhere in a hard to track down location to stop a possible potential political figure head to arise. I'm sure most would deem it not worth the resources or put minimal resources into it since they were at the time fighting on Aldenard while keeping the lands they controlled in Ilsabard and Othard under control which would make it probably one of the safest ways to live. Of course that is just my two cents on the matter and SE can prove me wrong once again .

One thing for sure, I'm starting to doubt slightly if the "Voice" was New World.
But only for 1%.
Since if V.V. we're to be our hidden passenger with Erenville, then that would kinda throw off my ideas(but speculation is meant to be thrown off anyways. it's the fun of it)
But hey, somewhat maincast Rothgal, regardless, if not. Then we will have a New World Hrothgar expac Maincast in either path.

Those artists are making it hard to not buy SE's entire Glamour Stock, Rothgals will be hard to not make look good in anything(I hope). But I'll stick to my Hopes, and will.

My Rothgal will likely have a more of self-discovery path when I fully decide on one.
[Probably the safer option as I'm not fully caught up on Hrothgar Lore as others.]
and it'll honestly leave it open for growth as I goes later on.
Besides, it's pretty common for people with ties to the world to not know them til it knocks on the door.

I posted this on Twitter, but I think I should add it here just in case.
As of the Encyclopedia Eorzea Volume III, we have been left with only 1 picture that depicts a female Hrothgar, before there were 3.

This is the only mural that shows a female Hrothgar:




While these, depict Misija's Ancestor after her transformation into the Queen. The book paints it as Nevembya Votyasch transformed into a Hrothgarified version of her former self, something close to how Ysale, when turned into Shiva, gained a more Draconic appearance. So, not an actual female Hrothgar.

I admit, part of me is thinking, what if they make femroth so good looking that the males feel a bit left behind? I certainly hope that isn't the case, but I can't help but feel that way a bit.
