Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

I'm not super surprised but I'm a bit perplexed by the fact that they didn't include pictures of female Hrothgar. It's kinda weird for them to be the only race to not have both genders pictured together in the books. That's why I was counting on them being announced at the London FanFest. I understand that it would have meant delaying the release (considering assets might not have even been ready for them) but oh well.

It is sad, but at least we don't have too long of a wait. I am just happy some things got explained better in the book, like Bozja being more drawn out than it was in the game. It also solidifies my hate for the Garleans. The way it shows Bozja before, during and after the incident is really terrifying to think about. Especially since the book emphasizes the fact that Garlemald chose specifically this place to host the meteor project with no care for the people who live there. Also, the fact that Hrothgar were 75% of the population with Roegadin 10%, Hyur 10% and 5% of the rest and it is specified that no one survived, just the people who fled the country or were conscripted. Nightmare.

Given that there's a picture, unless female Hrothgar are literally male Hrothgar models copy-pasted over, it would appear that Vtorak is a male-bodied Hrothgar regardless of what pronouns he or she may prefer.

If they actually wanted mystery, they easily could have made it a blank picture. Given the rest of the profile, it wouldn't seem out of place.

Given what Gunnhildr looks like I'm expecting another Au Ra situation. Which disappointing, hopefully they don't go that route but I'm not holding out any hope honestly.

That is already confirmed to not be the case, at least in their body proportions.

I don't know about that, the legs we saw suggested a significantly more slender build than their male counterparts (not that that's any surprise). I think the only real mystery left is whether they'll just have a human-shaped head with cat-like mouth and nose or look more anthropomorphic, like the males...

That would be nice. I would imagine that before the recent events in Garlemald they would have preferred to hide more than travel, at least to take refuge somewhere where they would not be handed over to the garleans for nefarious political reasons. I'd bet on Radz-at-Han, New World or Sharlayan, because they are obviously the most open to mixed ethnicities and avoid overt politics (ye ye I hate politics).
The Gleaners are my old and sincere love from the moment I saw them first. Interesting, even if not easy, work to do, + travel and education. Also like that we meet interesting gleaner characters not only in MSQ, but also beyond.
Would love if after some certain paert of EW we could meet randomly pop-up NPC Gleaners in the same way we meet Retainers and Alpha.
