Not a SMN main here, but anyone else thinks that instead of Bahamut/Phoenix giving access to Ifrit, Garuda and Titan, it should be the other way around? And also that there should be a reason to summon specific primals instead of "It's just your turn now."?

Without a demi (edit: not primal), it would probably make the opener weaker, but it's like that for many jobs who don't have a full resource anyway, but with that, the 2min marks would have Phoenix instead of baha, which is not really a great feel... I guess the optimal solution would be separating both Demis in their own key and letting us choose.

The reason to summon specific primals is purely situational based whether or not you can stand to cast or be on the move. I think this strategic approach is very superficial, though, and could be more of an interesting problem solving. Maybe it's because they made Garuda and Titan both fill in the same 'free movement' niche, when you can usually save your swiftcast for Slipstream.
