Lost my house

Well, it looks like I lost my house despite visiting it often enough to keep it. I was vigilant enough for years to keep my house, but the game didn’t care. Anyway, my stuff is at the resident caretaker and I don’t have enough free space to get everything back. Am I just going to lose all of my housing collection?

Usually you’d have at least engage on either of them.

Yes it does, I have multiple houses I cancel auto demo on every month and all I have to do is enter the house and it cancels it.

Interacting with anything inside the house should not be necessary, and normally isn't necessary.
Merely entering your house is supposed to reset the timer, and that is how it usually works.
There might well be a bug such that just entering the house sometimes does not reset the timer, but that is a rare occurrence if it happens.
