Suggestion: do NOT remove MainScenario Roulette from Mentor BUT instead change this?

I don't think there should be a compromise. We are just not needed in DR:MSQ duties, period. The boss fights are simple and it doesn't take a mentor to sit there and watch cutscenes. There are plenty of people actually queuing for DR:MSQ for the massive experience rewards. They don't need mentors to fill those seats.

In the time the game forces me to sit through a 35 minute Praetorium they could have put me in two or three dungeons or trials where I actually mattered.

Can we remove Memoria Misera EX from Mentor Roulette as well? I can't think of a single person that actually wants to do it synced.

I have no objections to removing DR:MS in addition to removing MSQ duties from DR:Mentor as people can run these duties with Duty Support if they don't want to wait for queues.

However, removing DR:MS alone is not a good alternative to removing the MSQ duties from DR:Mentor because then only mentors would be filling those seats, which, as I have maintained every time this topic has come up over the years, is a gross waste of mentor time.

Saying "but duty support" is a slippery slope that could lead to the only duties in mentor roulette being Normal and Alliance Raids, 8man Trials other than the level 89 one, non-MSQ dungeons, and Guildhests.

MSQ Roulette is obsolete. Most of my Prae runs have been with people who are just there for the easy tomes. SE needs to remove MSQ Roulette and stop giving people mogtomes for doing those duties in Irregular events.
Especially considering that in the pre-6.5 event, people started abusing the amount of tomes Prae gave alongside a third-party program that removed all unskippable cutscenes to make it give far more tomes/hour than it was ever intended to. (This may have happened in the pre-6.4 event as well, but I heard about it happening in Tenfold Pageantry.)

I get MSQ duties in DR:Mentor at least twice a day, and the no-newbies occurrences are at least often enough to be conspicuous.

Absolutely not interested in slippery slope arguments in this case because my argument for removing the DR:MS duties from DR:Mentor is not “duty support exists”; it is “it doesn’t take a mentor to watch unskipable cutscenes”. If you reread my earlier reply you will see that duty support has absolutely nothing to do with removing duties from DR:Mentor.
