Most of the people that actually like EW's relic quests are the same people that assume that you'd have to live your life on the game to complete older relics. The reality is that those people have zero time management skills.

Exactly this! I'll never understand how the ethos of "it's fine to take breaks" applying to casual players and those with less time so they don't feel stressed to rush or grind has been transformed into content that forces everyone into taking those breaks whether you like it or not. There was nothing stopping them from taking the relic grinds slowly in the first place!
