Damage meters don't give anyone an advantage. If you are participating with a static that has parses for an entire expansion's raid that you're willingly participating in, the whole group should be banned for cheating. It'd be like being on a competitive fps team where 1 person is hacking. That person is making the entire team's efforts invalid. If you're knowingly participating on the same static team as a cheater, that makes you a cheater. Be different if they weren't totally aware of the logs, but they are aware that they are participating in a static with a cheater.
Me having the bad luck of queueing into a random group of strangers through duty finder(not party finder even) where someone chooses to log the raid, yeah that's me who is being griefed.
I bet you're pretty stoked about elon musk developing neurolink.
All the stats in it are already in the game via the battle log. The difference is, if you wanna calculate your damage via the battle log, it will take you like an hour per fight for doing the math. The game should have a better tool in game to help those who want to improve but SE doesn't want to since some people will use it to be toxic towards those who suck. That's the only reason it's not in the game to begin with. Not because its cheating.
Why would you want to calculate the damage? Oh yeah to figure out the damage requirements to pass the fight.Damage meters don't give anyone an advantage.

Can only imagine the mental trauma the moderator has to put up with.Having dialogue about the state of cheating and allowing people to expose themselves on the official forums as users of third party software is definitely going to improve the game.
I've cancelled my sub and I am in the having a conversation with a moderator about the state of the game through the support desk. I'm saying my piece and then moving on until things change.
You're the one who called everyone bad though don't put that on me.
That said, support desk people are cool, but sometimes I feel support desk issues are like a loop. Because they relay you to game masters, but game masters can't resolve the issues so they redirect you to support desk. Loop.
So for a performance advantage that you can't get in game without going to extremes that nobody realistically would ever go to, or has ever gone to. Got it.
If your idea of trauma is someone asking for clarification on the state of cheating in this game and what square enix is planning to do about it... You should probably stop using the word trauma.
Truth is they don't care at all and just give a non-answer. I am waiting for a followup that will never happen. This is what they said "for now"(and ever most likely)
This game is dead for anyone who cares about fair play and likely always will be. Sucks but cheaters "win". It's the only way square enix can "compete" with the number 1 mmo on the market WoW. If they let anyone play their game, they will at least look like they are number 2.Hello and thank you for your GM call.

My "traumatic" response:
I made a post on the forums, a mod posted in it, but what are you going to do about it? This game is unplayable currently if you're against cheating. If you read the responses, people are openly defending the state of the game and claiming that square enix will never do anything about cheating and that nobody cares. There is footage of a streamer cheating with zoom hacks live and calling it "ultrawide" while outputting 1080p 16:9 gameplay.
I would just like to know that steps are being made because currently what is being said is "square enix is fine with cheaters in their game, it's a don't ask don't tell policy. as long as you're not telling others what you're doing it's okay."
Is the game's success really dependent on enabling cheaters? If so I'll stay unsubscribed forever because I can't stand playing in a game that does nothing about unfair play.

I mean SE can't do anything with your vague posting about a streamer at least give them a hintI made a post on the forums, a mod posted in it, but what are you going to do about it? That static wouldn't last very long. Even ignoring the fact that you'd get sandbagged into oblivion, imagine having to listen to the unhinged rambling about mods and probably get accused of cheating every raid night for 3+ hours straight.
