Thank you for the kind words! Inspiring to see how many players here reflect on the story and portrayal of their characters. It's interesting, and makes me feel like I belong, too.

And this is a question! Current moment, I'm at the idea that my character shouldn't be a queen, except in unintended case. So, there was a queen or her heir, but they are gone, otherwise she would not had a reason to leave the homeland. Which makes her a Lost?.. but I'll wait until the benchmark releases, to really get the new lore and visuals. In my head she looks like a black coeurl, at least.
Also I really hope that after the announce people will have time to share their impressions, before the topic is closed... T_T If I remember correctly, such a thing happened with the Viera's one...

Absolutely, even I keep a majority of the backstory as an "if" mostly due to lore (I would like to abide by it as much as possible), I think I might give it some final touches after I will get the Encyclopedia in a few days. And I can just imagine a cool coeurl-like female Hrothgar. And maybe it's because of the recency of it, but I imagine it in the new crafter glam they showed at the EU fan fest (looks really cool). But yeah I cannot wait for the reveal and benchmark! But I think it would be better after the benchmark if we completely moved to the "Show your Hrothgar" thread.
As for closing the thread, I don't think so, the male Viera one was basically 1500 or more pages. So the mods closed it due to being too long. I believe they did the same to the first "Show your Miquo'te" and "Tails from Duty Finder", but I could be wrong.
This thread has a very good chance of not getting closed for a long while, but after we will get our ladies, I don't see a reason to continue in here, cause it would have already been a "mission-accomplished" case.

OMG yes! YESH! I was so excited when they gave us concepts for the new gear at London Festival. Can't entirely say if this set was intended for a blacksmith or a leatherworker, but still, it's amazing!



Also not sure if we can ask this of you, but if there are new concepts or lore details... it would be great to learn it! Of course, if this is not a violation of SE' rules, and you'd like to (´｡• ᵕ •｡`)

The set you have in the picture I bet my bottom dollar is a Leatherworker since in the right hand the tool looks like a Headkinfe that they use. As for getting lore details from the book coming out I would say that there shouldn't be any violations talking about that unless you somehow break the street date. If anything they probably would be more disappointed about loosing out on a book sale than coming after you with a ban-hammer for getting details from the book from someone else.

I do think that is the leatherworker, but boy do they look amazing! And sure, if I find anything new I will post here to keep people up to date! I don't think that SE would have a problem with it as long as I don't just straight-up repost the book contents. But if I find anything, I will definitely share!
