    The crystal Azem left at Hythlodaeus' office seems to be aetheryte crystal. But aetheryte crystal was made canon during the Yedhlimad part of the MSQ and there were aetheryte crystals in Elpis but maybe those are not supposed to be canon.

    The Ancients had Aetherytes already, we see them in Elpis and Amaurot. This is most likely a concept crystal containing a Mount:
