Thanks for the compliment, I'll own this toxicity with pride since that's what you think it is. The only attitude adjustment that's needed here is discplinary action on our neighbors who have openly defied the terms of service. I made a reasonable request. I was given nothing but jokes and other nonsense, instead of a "how are these blocking your view?" or an "are you serious?" before assuming toxicity. The point of the post is that they are floating multiple towers with the help of a plugin or an exploit, and deliberately affecting the views of more than one neighbor in the ward. I may be the only one in the ward who's vocally upset about it since I don't have a better view to look at in real life. Sure, I don't pay their sub. But, they are required to comply with the terms of service, which strictly prohibits the use of plugins and mods. The same plot in another Shirogane ward is not going to magically appear out of thin air for my FC to bid on. Contrary to popular belief, gil does not grow on trees.

Those towers were literally floating in thin air. They have recently changed the decor again, but deliberately left a tower blocking the view of the lighthouse. They could have just shown some restraint with their decor, avoiding this in the first place. Instead, they chose to try and help President Trump continue his border wall into the world of Eorzea. I even waited a few days before asking because of how frequently they've been changing their decor. It is sad that it has come to this. For now, I hope and pray that a dev/GM gets involved to do something about it. It's not fair to those of us that comply with the terms of service when putting out our decor. While it would be less disruptive for them to have the towers on the ground as intended by the devs it would still be an eyesore, albeit a far more tolerable one. The towers would not be blocking anything if they had just put them on the ground instead of floating them. The point that too many is an eyesore still stands, even if it is not as important as the fact that they have definitely broken the terms of service.

Asking for an outside decor of that size to be limited to 1 per estate is not unreasonable. It's asking for common sense from Square Enix. Most players who have a house at least show public decency, even if they break ToS to place their housing items. Unfortunate that not all share that same trait. Even more unfortunate that they have decided to make themselves a special case.

Contrary to YOUR belief, the sea on the horizon, and the lighthouse, could both be seen from just outside our plot, before the towers were put up. A shore plot is not required as long as our neighbors comply with the terms of service set by Square Enix when placing their outside furniture.
