Cloud DC Proves Cross-Region Travel is OK

I feel like all the people complaining about DC travel need to make an alt on materia and see how truly dead things are there. DC travel has made the game more playable at really late hours and I will absolutely take inconveniencing people over content being literally unplayable past 1AM.



inb4 but you play on Aether: I regularly hop to Primal for PvP and hunts. My degen hour raid static has people from all 3 major NA servers, and finding replacements/subs is difficult enough as is. It'd be impossible without DC travel.

Make an alt on Marilith/Maduin/Halicarnassus.

Already have one on Marilith going back to the first few days of dynamis going up, and I recently added one on Seraph too. Queuing on Aether is better than not queuing at all, and having access to developed market boards + a few million gil from my main also really helps. I wouldn't bother using either char without the benefits of DC travel and there just aren't enough new players to keep Dynamis alive without alts, at least until DT or xbox.

Nah the problem of dead servers existed long before dynamis or before DC travel. In the late 5.5 lull before EW even Aether was unplayably dead past midnight server time.
