I would really hate this.
Ever play WoW? People will grief with their mounts left and right.

This! Idyllshire was well designed with an outdoor area big enough for mounts and an indoor area with vendors. Island Sanctuary has that debuff system for dismounting people they could utilize in town design.

yes buddy don't hold your breath waiting for this.
I honestly didn’t consider the possibility of NPCs being blocked by mounts. I could see why this would be problematic now. However, we do need hub areas that we all gather to again, like Mor Dohna or Idyllshire. Those were great. I loved when the tomestone vendors weren’t located in major cities.
Vehemently opposed.
Many mounts are large and get frustrating with blocking camera view even just trying to look around, nevermind at specific people or things i want to see.
Interaction points and NPCs would end up blocked and be difficult to click on.
The bobbing up and down is distracting (or nauseating depending on how close they are).
The light effects on some of them are difficult for those of us prone to migraine or with other photo-sensitive health issues.
Adding even more particle effects in player-dense areas also gives some of our computers a harder time and creates more lag.
No.
They should let you mount in the new large cities like Old Sharlayan and in the open areas of Radz, but yeah old cities like Limsa it would never ever work.

No I dont think they should. However I do think Sprint outside of combat should have its cooldown reduced to either 30 or 20s.
