This is something I would like to happen. I always found it weird the only content with a sync was dungeons whilst everything else was left to be synced to the expansion cap.

more like all the ilvl syncs per expansion should be increased to expansion cap the point of ilvl is to make it so you can out gear content.
making dungeons take longer doesnt make it harder just waste more of my time during grinds.
Probably won't change much due to potency creep.
Letting people ignore and skip mechanics just massively devalues the older content.
Sure there are things like Nier during it's launch that was massively bloated and a weaker group would take way too many loops to clear each fight, but each fight should go through its mechanics at least once and there should be a real threat of dying.

Where do you draw that conclusion from? The point of ilv in a v-progression game is to gate your progress until the requirement is reached by the player. Allowing content to be outgeared in the fashion FFXIV does spits on development time to design the fights along with the player experience.
Also, no one really cares about your time. This isn't about you. This also doesn't apply to just dungeons. Faster clears should be granted through player skill, not throwing bloated ilvs at the enemy.
Unfettered potency creep is exactly why this problem exists. Hence, the whole suggestion of restricting the maximum ilv allowed for duties. Particularly level cap duties. Leveling dungeons and trials don't really have this problem.

it does none of that and you are right it's not about you that's why we dont have as many ilvl syncs as some players want and we can ilvl cheese fights skill isn't important people playing is.Where do you draw that conclusion from? Yes, it does. You literally cannot enter a duty you do not qualify for, and it is your ilv and/or job level that determine this. Saying the point of ilv is to outgear content is an opinion. However, what's objective is that bloated ilv does make clears easier and faster and this is to the chagrin of many players. That's why I say this isn't about you. When you structure your statements in this manner, you show a lack of empathy, and that you only care about your experience. Be better than that and show some compassion towards your fellow players. I have pointed out negatives that are a direct result of ilv bloat, which makes it a consequence.
Your take about skill not being important, and what is actually important is players playing the game. But when a duty gives you no threat level of failure, and you can just mindlessly press buttons to get through it, are you truly playing the game? Or are you just wheeling through the motions like a mindless chore? It's kind of like the saying that goes, "Everyone alive doesn't truly live." There are currently two active healer threads of players who are bored to tears playing healers in this game. Whether it's because of a one button damage rotation, flawed encounter design, or mirroring the jobs within the healer role; it's clear they are not happy either way, and there is much more to playing the game than just pushing buttons.
These things should matter to the producer and execs at SE. Otherwise it's tough to say they deserve our support.
