did the devs ever played the MSQ they did?

BUT! for the first time ever... I got recognized as a RPR in the MSQ. Alphinaud mentions that during one of the guest "I see that you have taken up their art.." I was very impressed with this. It's not the usual thing.

It happens periodically with different jobs, starting with dragoons back in the lead-up to Heavensward. It can get a little weird as sometimes it only checks if you've done certain quests, while others (like the reaper examples in post-EW content) only check if you're actually that job at the time.

the game has a certain amount of quests to make per expansion/patch that includes the main story and a world to build so yes we are going to do a lot of quests some people may find dumb if you dont like them skip the dialogue they honestly dont take all that long.

they take hours. they are easy over 60% of the game

They poke fun at it and let us pick dialogue options mentioning we are just doing chores its very much on purpose.

I don't like it either but its what works for them as a way to extend the msq playtime and thank to god when u get to do some actual combat in dungeons or trials.

Msq is not meant to be a satisfying gaming experience, just a cool story.

Just stop yourself... the local communities inside the game is important too and it is those people we help as well to gain their favor for being the famous WOL, it is a part of any game, yes I agree some of them should never had been there or possible replaced with something else, but that is that and only a fragment of quests.

Quest sidelines and more to it, you are free to do, or do not, you don't need them for MSQ.

what free to do ? its is part of the msq, i am forced to do it . i love for it to be side quests.

yes it is , what more they do clearly day "we need to help as well" as if what we did so far was nothing and the dog out side can do better.

I dont mean it as an excuse, I just know corporations like this get away with what they can get away with and square enix can get away with this and you kinda just have to come to terms with this.

Thats what sidequests are for and they are still developed and they make a lot of them so this is not a valid excuse for making the main story be plagued by stuff like this.
