Pretty much every person i see that says there quitting an mmo always comes back and there 'I quit" usually doesn't last long. When people post on the forums saying there quitting most of the time they want a big spectacle out of it or want attention.

That is when the true Vana'diel of legend will be reborn.
This is only true until it's not. This type of response is incredibly common across all MMOs and you can find out how that eventually went for them. Sometimes people come back, but when stuff gets ignored and they move on is when games die.
FFXIV's fanbase is really quick to dismiss any criticism or complaining, but they don't realize that people care enough to complain. The problem is when they stop caring and just leave.
I'm sad to report this is exactly how I'm feeling. It feels as if the developers just fell deaf for the entire expansion.
They ask us for feedback but give us no way to submit any. They don't appear to read the forums, seeing as of how much of a dumpster fire it is. Feedback is a privilege reserved to content creators and even they do not receive any responses beyond "eh maybe"
What is there to be excited about anymore? It feels like I'm just waiting to see what disappointment they churn out next.
"Best community support" Lmao that has to be a joke. When is the last time anyone has seen a community manager or anyone post on here?
Lol true. We saw one intro post from a new community manager a few months and never heard from her again. I did, however, see her stream on the FFXIV twitch channel for a bit.
The Legends of the Titanmen lives on, a shining example of the power of compassion and the ability of people to make a difference in the world. A reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope, as long as there are heroes like the Titanmen who dare to do good deeds in Eorzea.
I am sure speaking about them with disrespect is guaranteed to bring them running to cater to your every need. Time to confront the reality of the situation. You don't live in a dream world. It wouldn't hurt if you add a dash of grow up too.
The multimillion dollar corporation doesn't need you to defend it, sorry. Point is, they don't deserve either award. I voted for Cyberpunk and BG3 myself.
They breed this apathy and hostility by way of their unresponsiveness. Of course people are going to get frustrated when they feel ignored.
Do you honestly think people would still act like this if we had actual correspondence with CBU3?

I think that's par the course with CM's for MMOs.
The CM of the game I used to play was actually quite unpleasant on the very rare occasions he did bother to interact. Sarcastic, disinterested, defensive, crap at his job (spellcheck was too much effort for him) and had very little real knowledge of the game he was CM for.
