This bug has existed for years. You can reliably trigger it on Leap of Faith by just queueing as soon as it comes up.
Well according to people on reddit the same tool that gives people the visuals for dodging things in-game also has a function to quickly join/leave the fall guy's lobby in an attempt to get a solo instance. There's no penalty for leaving, so it can just get spammed constantly. I'm curious if this has impacted wait times, but there's no way I'm going back and playing right now.
Be funny if SE noticed ppl using a tool to spam join/leave to get solo instances and put something in that caused these ppl to keep getting put into the same lobbies with each other... but this is SE we're talking about. Even though I do find it funny as hell when devs and game companies decide to screw with and troll ppl using cheats and exploits in games. Hell, even something as simple as sticking those FF16 brands on faces of ppl that used 3rd party tools at some point would be humorous...
This issue has existed in Gold Saucer since long before Fall Guys came about. If you signed up for Leap of Faith the moment the NPC popped, you would often end up in a solo instance.
People trying to get into solo instances will not significantly affect wait times. Once you are in a lobby (which happens instantly upon signup), that lobby is guaranteed to start a match either when its 2 minute timer runs out or when it fills with 24 people. You may not get an early start if people keep leaving, but there is nothing that can stop or roll back the countdown timer.Well according to people on reddit the same tool that gives people the visuals for dodging things in-game also has a function to quickly join/leave the fall guy's lobby in an attempt to get a solo instance.
