Changing the requirements to just 100 frontline wins total would still be too easy, I'm thinking you could easily just replace the achievement reward with a mount like the other maps

Have the set be a reward for winning 300 total frontlines

That's the opposite of helpful. Right now the requirement is 100 Seal Rock wins, so on average requires 300 games. (And as a non-enjoyer of PVP, that goal feels like a "too much tedium to even be worth aiming for" goal rather than one that encourages me to participate.)

Changing it to 100 total wins makes it no easier, just alters which duties need to be run, and 300 total wins would multiply the average number of games played to 900 – if you win the average number of games.

There is not a single other piece of gear that exists in the game with such a long and non-unsynchable grind. The current requirements, let alone tripling them.

Does it really make sense though to expect that this reward is adjusted for those people who don't even enjoy PvP? That doesn't seem reasonable. Don't forget, there are other rewards that are already there - the daily roulette, plus other rewards that are easier to get that include mounts and glamour.

There are rewards in PvE that are far harder to achieve and typically unless someone has the time to invest (and often, the skill) they just won't get those rewards.

Except as others have said, winning in Frontlines is RNG at best. As a single player you can't guarantee a win no matter how skilled you are. You can also just AFK your way to 100 wins. There's no skill required for that reward, unlike many others in the game.

You know, I was trying to think of how best to phrase this, and I'll just come out and say it- this is an excuse, i.e. the easy way out and whomever uses it wants to make themselves feel better because they know somethings not justified.

You can say that it's pure RNG, to an extent it's true, however it's also wrong that a single player has no effect. One very skilled player with good situational awareness and BH can have more influence than a few new players that get lost and die repeatedly, for example.

In addition- in theory- you could AFK your way to 100 wins. If that didn't work out for you, I wouldn't be surprised. It would also then makes no sense to me regarding the argument as to whether the reward should be adjusted- it's either a punishing grind because you need to work for it so the number of wins should be adjusted , or it's really easy because you could AFK anyways - in which case why should it be adjusted? Which is it?

Note- I'm note disputing the "this is not a skill achievement", there are multiple cases of time -based rewards in this game are related to skill - just look at island sanctuary gathering rewards as a random example, or series based PVP (points accumulation)
