Can we get some clarification on Solo Blunderville instances?

I assume that solo instances are not intended at all unless on the off chance that you somehow are the only person queueing(unlikely right now).

Something else no one seems to have mentioned is that it's possible for the instances to be full, hence while during peak hours in the evening you can have a 5 minute+ queue to even get into the starting lobby. So realistically, right now if you're in a solo instance during peak hours then you're potentially making 23 other people wait.

I'm mostly asking because a lot people are attempting to figure out how to rig their way into a solo instance consistently so they can farm the achievements.

Can you blame then when there is an achievement for 100 wins and the event is completely broken thanks to the netcode ?

I can only confirm with my wife, when the two of us were in party and did it together, only one of us could get past the first round, i think she then had to do the 2nd (not sure if she had to actually do that one, though) and 3rd, which was still basically a free win.

Yes-no.

I understand their position and sympathize. I don't necessarily support what they're doing.

People have apparently DC traveled to Dynamis hoping for easier wins and I guess faster queues, but even here there seems to be queues now. People in discords are admitting that they're forcing solo instances and I can't help but think that's a bit selfish.

It's not though. Other people have to wait in queue because you filled a solo instance on your own. Maybe in a few weeks when not as many people are playing it'll be fine, but right now it's not right.

You can't. Sometimes matchmaking just gives up on your instance and moves on to another. If it happens when you just started a fresh instance on your own, then winner winner chicken dinner. (Unless you still can't make it through the blue zone on Saucery Siege or whatever.)


I'm willing to bet it's something very similar to what can happen in Eureka/Bozja instances when they get "locked".
