We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

Another reminder that the Manalis scouting set is bulkier and more armored than the Fending set:



Granted these are old sets that were swapped this time around, but I still fail to see why the bulkiest set was given to Scouting, instead of for example Maiming. The way the pick roles for sets is becoming less and less consistent with time.

Of course, if we had no restrictions, it wouln't matter. Everyone would wear whichever one they like the most or just combine all the pieces.

If you don't want to wear scouting armor on a caster, the don't. If you want to wear scouting armor, you can choose to play a scouting job. No one's going to force you to wear gear you don't like.

unimaginative. Not a good reason to limit things like hats, gloves, shoes, trousers etc etc even if you think the main body piece is too distinctive to a specific job. the idea is to be given more freedom for mixing and matching. Just swapping jobs won't let you do that.

Bad news, both of those already happen, removing the glamour lock would not change that in the slightest. Also, the Shisui sets exist.

We already have tanks in bikinis. and frog heads. and pyjamas. There are so many more potential combinations than just "caster in plate armour" Sorry if that's all you can come up with but there's a huge thread knocking around on here full of all the cool forbidden combinations people have created.

Did you even bother looking at all the examples proving there's no "thematic choice" shown in this thread ? Like the one above your first post ?
