With the announcement of Viper, the weapon options for jobs are getting scarce

Scarce? pffft.
Is full of weapons: ancient weapons, cultural weapons, medieval weapons, modern weapons and fiction weapons to make thousands of diferent Jobs.

What might be scarce is the imagination of the playerbase and developers, but thats another topic.

I want something kind of like that, but more lightweight with magic (or magitek) forcefields rather than heavy armour. Would make for a different vibe of tank than "guy with a big blade".
