I fear the only way they can get it back is to lower the graphical settings.Leave both options for the "synthetic" ones and the "natural ones" is a good compromise here, but that "upgrade" shouldnt be forced on aura players imo, both should stay an option.
I heavily dislike the new limbal rings, while I loved the old ones, they gave a shiny effect and it was fun to have on my aura alts.
Either way the devs keep telling us theyre wanting to preserve the general look players have grown accustomed with the updates so I support giving both options
As they explain in the Technical Art panel, the ring used to be a separate model from the iris (what they call "polygons"), and after the update it will be a shader (a parameter in the material on which the iris texture is on). They're 2 completely different techniques and can be combined together, there's no need to lower graphical settings.
