Since it's an Alliance raid every role will be sharing their gear so I'd be very surprised if any of it was specifically themed to any one job in particular like XI artifact gear.

The bad part of role gear is we can't get each job's different af armor with a couple new creations in the same theme for jobs like ast and mcn that are not in ffxi. I would love for the 3 raids to drop the articfact, relic, and empyrean gear sets respectively even if the relic is just a recolor of the artifact. I would go bonkers if they showed off all that gear as possible drops.

I know its an unpopular opinion, but I am of the stance that we desperately NEED more job/race specific gear. There is plenty of gear that is open to everyone or every job in a specific role. In a game where rp is so important it's sad they don't let us have more job/race/cultural identity alongside the diversity the system already gives us.

Just as long as we don't have the drama where the first two red mages in line for a hat have to miss our scheduled Dynamis-Xarcabard run, so of course that's the run that THREE HATS DROP.
