New Job: Viper

All of the teasers are very basic. Dancer's only showed off its 1-2 and 3-4, not even Standard Step was revealed then nevermind, it was its 1-2 and 3-4 and Standard. We'll get more hints when the Benchmark drops, and then a more telling showcase during the job actions trailer.

Yeah, I know... but since this is an actually brand new XIV job, I feel they should've included one 'big hit' from the repertoire to enhance the hype. Usually we are already excited just for the fact that it's a classic FF job, and not the case this time.

One thing for sure is that dual-wielding swords is a bit of a letdown for me, because we have already a lot of this weapon silhouette, and even a big chunk of Ninja weapons already looks like shortswords. I hoped for a different offhand, like a whip... But that impression can change depending on how much the other sword mode is played upon.

I'dve made the same argument for Sage's teaser last time since it was basically an entirely new concept, but that was fairly boring as well. Though that's pretty accurate to how Sage turned out unfortunately.
