Yes, that’s true, I forgot about Brazil and edited my post. Unfortunately that’s only for Steam and Brazil.

And Russia

Anyway, you can set up your account on steam and play from PS4/PS5 if you don't have a gaming PC. The biggest problem is cultural...most people here doens't like to pay. It doens't matter how much and doens't matter for what.

hope is the first step on the road to disappointment

I am aware of that but sales have been suspended there and we are not talking about Russia. The problem is that 13USD/month is a lot of money when you take into account local salaries and it’s subject to currency fluctuations

Yeah from my short time on dynamis it did seem more lively compared to when i sign into my oceania alt. It just seemed to get everything done i had to go back to my old datacenter and since i was spending all my time on primal rather then dynamis I end up transferring back. I didn't want to stay on dynamis solely for a upgraded free house since i had to datacenter hop to get everything else done before going back to take advantage of a nice house.I agree, I'm not really finding dyna to be empty per say, I think seraph just absorbed like 90% of the people transfering, the dc population isnt actually THAT bad and could become lively, that is if people stopped to dc travel all the time (which I am myself guilty of because its impossible to do anything right now on dyna)
Hopefully in the future things change, but it seem to be pretty much the norm at this point to go to Primal for PVP, crystal for venues and Aether for PvE content, and I dont think it's changing anytime soon
That is when the true Vana'diel of legend will be reborn.
The game service is not suspended in Russia. The game is available via Steam gifts, and the subscription price is local. My latest FFXIV receipt
Please sorry for the off-topic intrusion. It is solely to avoid the misinformation.

And I hope it stays that way because damn, paying it in brazilian real would be a kick in the balls, it would be close to buying a AAA priced game monthly.
I had no idea it was only us living in Brazil and Russians who had that benefit, might be because a substantial part of the LATAM playerbase is Brazilian. I told my old friend from Mexico to subscribe through Steam once his Free Trial is over, but now I think he's in for a rough awakening...

Imo, before that, should come a localization of the prices for the sub/gametime.Originally Posted by Alexandre_Noireau;6364881[I
Besides[/I]: The first and priority thing being asked/offering feedback here is the Localization of the game. The datacenter can perfectly be done later or not at all.
I'm honestly sick of having to pay way too much money because people from other countries can't resists my country's prices while they get to skip paying the same extra taxes we have to pay.
Find a workaround the VPN lead issues, and then worry about the localization of the game itself.

If there are things on Square-Enix end that would help with inter-region connectivity, ofc that should be a priority.
But the only way XIV makes it big in our markets is with a Localization.
The english barrier is real for many potential players.
"The will of my friends has etched into my heart, and now ill transform this infinite darkness into eternal light
Unmatched in heaven and earth, one body and one soul that challenge the gods!"
You know what's a bigger barrier than the language?
Money.
