Most people who cared about trolling don’t even really post here anymore. Forums are more boring than ever. So much so even this thread barely got a stir out if me. I’ve accepted the low quality place this is now, always was, and always will be.

I'd wager that the amount of troll posts and bait threads aren't actually increasing, it's probably because a number of more active users have been driven away from the forums in one way or another, so the spotlight is more on the trolls than usual.

I will say though, it's kind of sad when you see people who say they don't like the trolling are usually one of the first to respond to a thread created by the troll they claim to dislike.

Female Hrothgar is planned. Yes, there is no release date, but they are planned. Pressuring the devs is just gonna make them release it incomplete with lacking hairstyles and hats just like the last two. They said it won't happen in 6.0 so it only makes sense that we went two years without a word. It's one of those just be patient type of things.

i do hope, that going forward this thread might server as a way to identify the problematic people and incentivise people to ignore there posts and not bump them. or to add them to the ignore list and start bumping the threads they genuinly care about

my fear exactly... is that this becomes normality... with nobody really left anymore who genuinly cares.. those who do will continue to feel more left out by the community and the mods will continue to ignore this place

id wager they were saying that thinking that they were somehow above it, but when you see there history, you see theyre just as much immersed in it

in this race, i have no real horse... i am happy with my cherry lizard man and that will never change. but i am simply saying why i see legitimacy in the threads existance. any complaints beyond that are best given to said threads OP

Nobody questioned the existence of the thread nor it's purpose. I just simply said that it doesn't really count as a suggestion thread (let alone a new one) anymore when the devs have already public confirmed it is in development. We're just debating semantics at this point.

Bad idea. It creates a form of recognition and notoriety for them, essentially giving them part of the attention they're already seeking.

The best course of action is to put them on ignore. Do not post in or even read topics they start. Do not reply to them in topics that other posters start.

Honestly, welcome to every official forum ever.

In all my years of reading forums, I've never seen them be anything other than a playground for trolls, drama addicts and people who think being a prat is somehow a substitute for actual conversational skills.
