About glamour and job identity

In the unlikely event they did lift Glamour restrictions, there's nothing stopping you personally from adhering to them, regardless. Others wearing a mix of other Roles' gear meanwhile can't possibly be any worse than the various beachwear and animal costumes for All Classes people already run around in. If anything, I'd argue it would be an improvement...

ffxi lets you use any job's artifact on any other job once you master the job

Cleric from pretty much any fantasy setting says hi. Also, it's not any weirder than a caster in a chicken outfit.

Still blows my mind that there are 200 gear set slots in FF11 which it's a bit disingenuous to say are for glam only as gear swaps are a big thing in the game, but still you have the option for a crazy amount of pre-saved stuff.

I was thinking about that too.

Also style locking in FFXI, costs no reagants like glam prisms and you can apply saved slots at any time and place (I think? Its been a while).

During most of my journey through HW, SB and ShB I was wearing a COWBOY glamour, as PLD, SAM, DRK, and RDM.
In my last Nier alliance raid the main tank was wearing Hawaiian shirt and a white underwear.
That being said, I have no idea of what your beloved job identity even means nowadays.

Yup, not restricted to cities. They also have a mithkabob t-shirt in FF11, we need it in FF14.

People always go "Buh buh buh what if mage wears armour" completely missing or ignoring the fact we can already do that several times over, but you cannot dye the bogatyr's top of casting, but brd/mch/dnc can dye their copy pasted version.
