Only OP knows why they made this post, but there are reasons to make a thread like this that aren't aimed at the trolls themselves, but rather at the community that is tired of the trolls. Being a member of said population, I appreciated this thread as a place to vent about a common experience we all share in a way that doesn't feed an actual troll post.

It's still feeding into a pointless conflict that pats the ego of the worst of both sides and stirs up more useless mud-flinging and back-and-forth answer-and-respond threads, prolonging the drama and inevitably giving the garbage the trolls post the air they crave in the first place. It's inevitably also somehow always the same people doing it, who have admitted on more than one occasion the entertainment they derive from all the mess. It's just hypocrisy.
