Why is the English localisation riddled with missing context, outright omissions and needless changes that put a negative spin on things that are portrayed positively or more neutrally in the other localisations?

A lot of European players are fluent in multiple languages and speak with friends who are playing other language localisations only to find some very jarring changes to the story often exclusive to the English localisation.

Why was every shred of feedback about Criterion dungeons and their total lack of worthwhile rewards completely disregarded?

It's not often almost every demographic playing this game agrees on something, but this was one of those things. We all saw the train wreck coming, and players from every region did try to warn the guy.

Some of those examples feel like a stretch; especially the first example between saying Emet Selch entrusted us the future for salvation and in the NA version saying that his power was born out of salvation. The only major difference in that dialogue bubble being that Y'shtola talks in a more respectful tone towards him as if being indebted to him, compared to the NA version where she's more individualistic sounding with wanting to do their duty to save the world. Both versions still give the meaning of Emet wanting to save mankind with such power.

I'll admit the 2nd example does explain clearer why Hyadaelyn kept Zodiark in order to ensure the already established timeline in the other languages. That could've been helpful to keep in the NA script.

Even ff11 with it's launcher felt dated even it was released and the convoluted way you have to make an account and get into the game and made it feel like some late 80's or early 90's account sign up. Square always seemed 20 years behind when it comes to implementing forums and making an account or even how difficult they make it to even purchase digital items.

Can you explain why "If modders can do it you can't" is a question based on a PC-centric model of the game, and what may be possible on a PC is not necessarily going to work on the PS5? I feel your North American audience that doesn't use a console is stuck on this ...
