When I strat mmos I typically play female so when I dl this game too that's initially what I picked. Being a girl myself I allways wanted my character to be "me" but because aura fem looked the most like my body type (5'1) i picked that race. I got to hw and something about the msq felt off. The story was so engaging but my character felt detached or that I just couldn't get this immersion with her.
At the same time have heard how good the drk story was I plated through it and I was quite smitten by the teacher. I loved the way that despite how strong he looked he had a very gentle side. That's when I thought I would try and fantasia to a male aura. I was surprised how physically attractive I found them to be given there demeanour, initially too I was put off them for there playerbase stigma (you know the one) but I couldn't help how much I liked there look.

I started rewatching the msq with him and I found they were so expressive. when they need to look nice, they look nice and when they need to look mean, man they can look mean.
and that the story felt so much more immersive.
I love my wol now as if he was my son. I refer to him by my username sugar and see him as his own separate entity.
Because most ppl don't like male aura, I don't get much engagement except for the occasional people on a dungeon who likes his design. Or sometimes a girl who's attracted to him. But ig I'm OK with that. He's my gentle giant and my thing for me and thats all he ever has to be.

I love drawing him in his various jobs or whatnot with a semi invented hairstyle thats not the same one I use in game (maybe 1 day they'll add similar hair for men)
