    The idea of a reward is usually to give someone something for doing something that is out of their way. Criterion normal does that by paying back with different routes/lore/exploration. By giving the same gifts as savage it ruins any incentive to do savage. That being said they could do something similar to raid's in that you're given gear that you cannot dye or change while the savage drops would give you that ability.

    I'm glad they're doing something because it implies that they're listening at least and moving in a direction that I prefer. But we still don't know what the rewards are so I'll ultimately hold judgement until then.

    Agreed. My suggestion was more that running savage Criterion would allow you to augment it to a higher item level to keep make the gearing process through both. 620->630, for instance. I understand just wanting to keep it as they're saying now, though.
