Why have everyone in the middle for? If you have 2 on the left and 3 on the right... most of the time one side gets erupted and not the entire DD group. that's why you do 7 minute ifrits and not 4-5 minute ifrits.

The middle is safe. For a lot of reasons.

1) If cracks appear under healers, they can move without endangering BLMs. This means BLMS are free to continue DPSing without having to worry about running.

2) If cracks wipe out a healer, they aren't gonna wipe out anyone else. If you stack BLMS with healers, then you run the risk of having multiple ppl wipe from one freakin crack.

3) If you have melee DD its easier if BLMS stand behind them. That gives us a pathway to run to the top right or top left corners without endangering BLMs OR WHMs. You basically take a diagonal path to the side and up.

All in all everyone is safe when you have a whm on each side and everyone else behind ifrit.

You do realize there's no need to stack blms on whms right? There are two safe spots on both the left and right side.

But that doesn't give healers a place to run *if* you have melee DD. If they run back towards the blms, blms will have to run too. If they cut to the middle, melee dps will have to run. Having BLMS in the middle towards the back is really the best place.
