    This is why it is vital to have a variety of wildly different jobs with varying levels of complexity in the game. I find Dancer to be the most excruciatingly boring job in the entire game, but for tons of people it's their favorite job. By the same token lots of people hate the jobs I like the most.

    All of that is totally fine, and in fact healthy for the game, because people can play whatever suits their taste, which is an option that goes out the window when every job is dumbed down and homogenized. Hopefully the positive feedback from wacky PvP job design has reinforced this lesson to the devs.

    Dancers will still flash improv, it will never be full channeled.

    The potency loss from the DPS abilities you could have used instead...

    Dancer is currently my favorite physranged. It was Bard, but DNC feels a bit less funky to me when it comes to it's 2-minute stuff, and MCH feels bad to play personally whenever my ping decides to have even the smallest of hiccups.

    My biggest gripe off the top of my head is that I wish Improvisation wasn't a channel, and instead just gave the regen and full shield instantly. I never have a reason to prolong it for the shield.

    I think they might mean about not having a recast time, as in, functioning exactly like the PVP version, which is something I agree, and might even add an interesting layer of optimization. I never truly tried it, but got from others that it's a very minuscule gain to do that with how it currently is (sans if your DP is dead, of course).

    I've got very few complaints about dancer, the only thing I kinda wish is you could use dance partner on yourself to get the added benefits of other skills in anything solo, it be fine if this was a damage loss in any team content.

    Favorite phys range by far tho
